Saturdays just go so fast

Attempted to wake Jason up at 10:30am and convince him to go to the Middle East for breakfast but ended up getting up at noon having cereal, then bumbing around Harvard Square with the eventual plan of going to Bartley's (delicious burger place). Afterwards went to Newbury St to check out the Kiehls store (super swanky shaving and body lotions). Jason had been meaning to go for some time and finally was able to buy the the shaving cream of his dreams. I stopped by the Thom Brown Outlet store thing-y but saw nothing good. However, then Steph called me and we talked for a while.

She is sad to be back from her (two week!) spring break, Dublin, then Paris, then Lisbon and back to to Madrid (I am so jealous).

It turned into an excellent day for a walk (it's just unfortunate that we walked down Newbury St on a day when I wasn't looking for anything). It went from raw earlier in the day to quite nice and sunny for a few hours before sunset. Now we're watching King of Kong: A fist full of quarters, and now I should start paying attention.

Spring might be on the way?

It looks so nice out but I am at work, and then will go to a PSA meeting. Tomorrow, however, I have off and will be able to enjoy the day! Except I think it's supposed to rain....

Work is slow.
We ran out of tape (how does this happen we are a shipping company!?).
There are no super awesome new job prospects.

I am looking forward to dinner tomorrow with Erin and Sabrina at Pepper Sky near Jason's house in Central Square. And then Battlestar Galactica starts it's newest and last season. Let the geekage begin!

Cold season is not over

It is drizzling outside, I have a cold and I did not hear back from the job I wanted where Katelyn works. They, unfortunately, changed their minds about what level job they wanted to fill so suddenly I was under qualified, instead of perfect. I tried to make myself sound extra awesome but to no avail.

Back to idealist and craigslist it is!

Lunch Break Update

I tried to cut down on my intake of Thai food (because of over exposure and monetary constraints), but yesterday I failed because the vegetable Rama Garden was calling me from Pepper Sky in Central Square. I am now reaping more benefits from it for lunch today.

I found out my bank account was lower than expected because my dad forgot to deposit some checks I asked him to deposit. AND Cambridge Savings Bank very sneakily withdrew from the SUM network, so I have to pay them $2 too! Maybe it's time to, finally, get a bank account from a bank actually in Boston...?

The Justice for Janitors Rally went well considering it was pouring rain (seriously Weather Goddess?).

Then Jesse, a Janitor and I were interviewed for an indyradio station. Shockingly, I sounded really nervous which is why those are all the details I'm giving.

I saw Julie on the bus randomly! She had flowers for Jared because he is sick, which I thought was adorable, and I figured I'd let the readership of 4 know since Julie refuses to update her own blog.

Hopefully, in the short bus ride we shared I have convinced Julie to throw a dinner party/gathering. (But I bet it will have to wait until Jared feels better.)

Teaching myself new tricks.

In order to better help the PSA cause I have been trying to better learn how to use Photoshop and InDesign. So far I know how to use the newest versions of both just enough to get myself into trouble. My next project clearly will be trying to get myself out of trouble.
